I just wanted to send out this letter as an overview of this weekend’s event – our Ski Trip to Sugar Mountain Resort.
We will be leaving from the YMCA at 6 a.m. on Saturday morning. I know this is early, but it is almost exactly a three hour drive to the slopes. In order to get our lift tickets, rentals, and lessons, we need to get up early so we can get the most out of our day of skiing. (And I’m being patient because my friends and I used to leave at 3 a.m. in order to start skiing by 7 a.m. in
All of your ski rentals, lessons, lift tickets, and hotel are already paid for, so leave the big bucks out home. All you need money for is gifts, lunch on Saturday, and if you want snacks when we stop for gas. The hotel will provide breakfast on Sunday morning, and we will be back before lunch. Dinner will also be paid for.
A special note for people renting Snowboards!!! A $400 deposit needs to be put down in either cash or on a credit card to rent a board. All money will be returned to you after you turn back in the rental equipment. Ski rentals do not require a deposit.

Hey everyone. Thanks to all of the new Senior Leaders who showed up last night. There were 17 new potential Leaders, which if everyone decides to join, brings us to almost 50 Leaders total. Including our new Jr. Leaders’ Club, we have more than 60 Leaders now at the Morrison YMCA.
I wanted to send this e-mail out to make sure I put in all the correct e-mail addresses, as well as go over some things about Thursday night. I have found out that the game is not the Harlem Globetrotters, but the Harlem Ambassadors. I’m not really sure who they are, but it still should be fun. We will meet at the YMCA, in the pavilion, at 6:30 pm.

Thanks so much for all the help several of you gave last night (Wednesday) with stuffing envelopes and program guides. Anne Marie, Dana, Eve, Brooke, and the entire Membership Department loved your help. Because they were so impressed, they will most likely be asking for our help on a regular basis – like this Sunday.
If anyone can help Anne Marie with some filing in the business office this Sunday (anytime in between noon – 6 pm) it would benefit the YMCA a great deal. You do not need to work the entire six hours, but whatever time frame you commit to, you must stay for. So, if this is something you can do this Sunday, please e-mail me back as soon as you read this e-mail with the timeframe you can make it. It can be for one hour, two hours, all six hours, etc., just make sure to include a timeframe so Anne Marie will know when to expect you.
