I know that tonight’s meeting was a little tough for some of you, but I am glad we had it. It will only make us a stronger club. Please, please, please come to me with any questions and comments. One-on-one communication with me can only help the situation. I had some GREAT conversations with several Leaders’ after the meeting and I think we are back on the same page.
As for the Devotion, I was off by a few days. It is due March 31.
So, since people cannot come to videotape on Tuesday, let’s set time to do this on Friday. My suggestion is right after school lets out. We can get started at 2:30 pm. This way it will not interfere with exams, or your Friday night plans. Please let me know if you will be coming. And just because you are not going to BRLS does not mean you cannot be involved in the devotion. You may have some great ideas and insight to lend to the group. We will be having a very serious discussion about Volunteer hours at the next Leaders’ Meeting. The Executive Committee has updated all of the service hours and attendance and I am very disappointed. We need 75% of the club to have at least 100 service hours or more. Currently, only 14 people have more than 50 hours. We have to apply for a Level 3 status in April, and if we did that right now, we would have zero Leaders with more than 100 hours. If you are going to
And I’m not big on comparing us to other clubs, but Siskey requires 200 hours to attend
Now, I don’t want to be completely harsh in this e-mail, so I want to also make sure you know that you can do this. You still can volunteer at the Y in Leaders’ Club, play sports, and get your homework done. This is the best preparation you will have for college and life in the real world.
So, in saying that, please take a look at your calendars. We have LOTS of volunteer work for you. Just ask Michaela.

I need more responses to our last e-mail. So far I only have Annie, Justin and Meg signed up for 5th Grade Fun Night this Saturday from 6:45 pm – 9:45 pm. I need at least 15 volunteers.
I also need more people to come to the devotion meeting on Thursday. If you are going to BRLS, try to be at this meeting at 3 pm in my office because you will be in the devotion.
