Volunteers needed - Triathlon next weekend

How is everyone’s summer going? Miss me? I’ve missed you too.

 

Anyway, we still need some volunteers for next Saturday, July 25^th from 8 am – 11 am for the Triathlon. Please get back to me immediately if you can go. You will need your own transportation. Thanks.

Hi guys –

 

One last push for volunteers for our 1^st ever Triathlon in our YMCA Community…

The Amica Triathlon at Lake Wylie (presented by Steele Creek YMCA & Camp Thunderbird)

is being held next Saturday, July 25^th – and we still need to fill about 20 volunteer spots.

For those of you who supervise staff, please forward this email to your team. 

 

Our very own: Veronique Ryall, Katie Baldelli, Lisa Johnson, & Tanya Spizzo, are

Amica Tri participants, so in addition to volunteering – you can also cheer them & our YCommunity

TRYMCA group (made up of Steele Creek, BVY, & Morrison members) on throughout the event! 

Thank you to Mary Anne Peer & Matt Beatty and a group of our Morrison Lifeguards, who

are also participating as Lifeguards, and to Rachel Kafsky & Shana Davis for driving our

Steele Creek buses for the event.

 

Please contact Brooke Beddow asap if you are interested in being part of this 1^st Annual event!

We are SOLD OUT at 550 participants and it’s sure to be a fun time!

 

Packet Pick-up – Friday, July 24^th from 3pm-7pm at the Steele Creek YMCA

Triathlon – Saturday, July 25^th – 8am start at Camp Thunderbird

(750 meter swim, 10 mile bike, 5k run) – should be finished by 11am or so.
