Leaders' Christmas party Sunday Dec. 16th at 4:30 pm

I wanted to write and announce that we will have the First Annual Morrison Family YMCA Christmas Party Sunday Dec. 16th from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm. This will be a great time for you all to get together to eat and share gifts.

The party will be at our Leaders’ Club President’s house – Lexi Hawkins – which is in the subdivision across from the back entrance for the YMCA. We will meet at the YMCA and either walk or – depending on the weather – take the YMCA bus.

We will meet Sunday December 16th at 4:15 pm and will be done by 6:30 pm. You need to bring the following items:

A food item (either a dessert or an appetizer) and a gift (less than $15) for our gift exchange.

Please RSVP on the web site and also write what type of food you are bringing (so we don’t have 200 brownies). Thanks. Mike.

RSVP needed for Leaders' Dinner this Tuesday, Nov. 27th at McCalister's 6 p.m.

Just a reminder that we will be going out to eat this Tuesday instead of our regularly scheduled meeting. Same time, (6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.) same meeting place (the pavilion), but we will load up in the YMCA busses and go out to eat at McCalister’s Deli in Ballantyne Commons (I know we originally said Blakeney, but I called the Ballantyne one and they have more space for us).

I need to know if you are coming or not. This is not mandatory, but I need to know your status so I can arrange transportation.

Make sure to bring about $7 for dinner.

Also, please leave comments on the post below if you can come to this Saturday’s Breakfast with Santa. It should be lots of fun. As with all of my e-mails now, you can find this message at morrisonteens.blogspot.com.

Thanks. See you all tomorrow at 6 p.m.

E-mail sent out on Monday night about this coming Tuesday's meeting

I just wanted to send a reminder that we are meeting this Tuesday night from 6 pm – 7:30 pm in the Pavilion. And we will be practicing the physical fitness test, so wear tennis shoes and appropriate clothing. If you do not, that means you did not read this e-mail.

And because some people do not check their e-mail very often, I have started to post important information to a web site for our Leaders’ Club. Just go to http://morrisonteens.blogspot.com/. I will make posts anytime I send out an e-mail, and you can comment on the site as well. I think this will help us with some of the communication process.

I will also put agendas on there, as well as some important things, like the Club test.

And for those of you who came to the Home Makeover (Barrett, Kate, Katie Wheeler, Rebekah, Adriana and Kristen), thank you so much. It was great, and I had a lot of fun. See you all tomorrow.

Mike
